Tests carried out by a national long haul airline using some of the special products now available through intercede Aviation were developed by a long established chemical engineering company based in Germany. Use of the product and system have resulted in reduced fuel consumption of up to 1.5% on long haul aircraft due to efficiencies derived from the surface layer of polish that is applied to the aircraft surface at each application compared to traditional wet wash methods that do not always do so.
